About Green Goddess Gardens

Hi, I’m Adeline, and I help people discover, reconnect and be inspired with their gardens in ways that feel abundant, intuitive, and achievable.

I’ve been gardening since I was eight years old experimenting with in-ground beds, patio containers, vertical small-space solutions and raised gardens, always guided by curiosity and a willingness to try something new. For more than a decade, I’ve been cultivating food gardens across Washington State. The past six years have been spent intentionally growing a large, food-producing garden for my family in Vancouver, Washington, learning firsthand what thrives, what fails, and how to adapt with the seasons of the Pacific Northwest.

Green Goddess Gardens grew from a desire to share that lived experience with others with others in the communcity especially those who want to grow food, beauty, and resilience right outside their door.

My passion lies in potager-style gardens, where edible plants are woven intentionally with herbs and flowers. I love using “foodscaping” techniques, companion planting, and pollinator-friendly design to create gardens that are both productive and alive with movement. These systems support beneficial insects, reduce pest pressure naturally, and turn everyday spaces into living ecosystems.

I also believe the era of the ornamental front lawn is shifting. I embrace intentional watering used for food production and ecological value, not empty green space.

And then there’s a little bit of chaos gardening mixed in. I believe gardens don’t need to be rigid or over-controlled to be successful. Sometimes the magic happens when we let plants surprise us. If you’re open to experimentation and a bit of wildness, we’ll get along just fine.

Whether you’re just getting started or ready to deepen your practice, my goal is to help you find your inner green goddess and grow an abudant garden that nourishes you in return.

Our Nursery

In addition to our garden planning and design services, Green Goddess Gardens is a licensed small backyard nursery specializing in:

  • Culinary herbs

  • Fruit and vegetable starts

  • Medicinal herbs

  • Companion and pollinator-focused flowers, including regional native options

Each plant is grown with intention, sustainability, and purpose for your garden.
For the past three years, our nursery has expanded thoughtfully to serve the Clark County community with locally grown, seasonally appropriate selections.

Our Sustainability Commitments

This season, we are focused on reducing our plastic footprint by:

  • Using compostable grow bags

  • Transitioning to laser-engraved wooden plant tags instead of plastic plant tags

  • Practicing soil blocking

  • Using reusable silicone seed trays

We are actively reducing single-use plastics that are difficult to recycle and keeping long-term soil health at the center of our work, by reducing microplastics where we can.

Soil First & Organic Practices

Soil health is the root of growing.

We are committed to minimizing peat use and instead utilize:

  • Organic peat-free potting soil

  • Organic perlite

  • Organic Worm castings

  • No Herbicides, Pesticides, Salts, Detergents, or Vinegar

Healthy soil builds resilient plants, productive gardens, and stronger ecosystems.
